WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL – Illinois State Police responded to a collision involving a car and a semi-truck in Williamson County on Wednesday afternoon, according to KFVS.
The incident took place on Interstate 57 south near Illinois 148, where the truck collided with a Nissan Rogue. One person was injured in the wreck and taken to an area hospital, but no details were released on the person’s condition.
Traffic was disrupted along I-57 as the right lane of the interstate was shut down at mile marker 45 while the scene was being cleared.
