MARINE, IL – According to First Alert 4, a semi-truck driver struck and killed a pedestrian on westbound Interstate 70 near Illinois 5 on July 24.
The driver hit a 25-year-old man around 10:30 p.m.
The pedestrian died in the collision.
Following the crash, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
