KC: 1 left hurt after crash involving motorhome on MO-7 in Benton County

BENTON COUNTY, MO – A two-vehicle wreck Wednesday morning northwest of Warsaw left a 51-year-old local man injured, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened on a span of State Highway 7 at Karrs Park Avenue, at about 6:23 a.m.

Officials say the man was driving a 2004 Saturn northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing the Saturn to leave the roadway and hit a culvert. The vehicle went on to strike a 2009 Terra Motorhome before coming to rest.

While no one in the motorhome was reported hurt, the MSHP crash report indicates the driver of the Saturn sustained minor injuries but declined treatment at the scene.

The Saturn received moderate damage and had to be towed from the crash site, while the Terra motorhome, which only sustained minor damage, was left at the site.

No pending charges or citations have been reported at this time.
