KC: 2 hurt following rollover crash on US 50 in Van Buren Township

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two people were hurt in a rollover crash on US 50 EB near Herring Rd on Tuesday.

A 21-year-old man was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer when he strayed off the right side of the road, hit an embankment, and rolled over.

Rescue crews transported the driver and his 20-year-old male passenger to an area hospital. The driver was admitted with moderate injuries, and the passenger sustained minor injuries.

Neither the driver nor the passenger wore seatbelts.
