LAKE LOTAWANA, MO – According to KCTV, three teens were hurt in a two-vehicle collision near Lake Lotawana Saturday afternoon.
A 23-year-old woman was driving a 2013 Lincoln MKZ when she ran a stop sign and slammed into a Chevrolet Impala operated by a 17-year-old male at Missouri 7 and US 50 around 3:25 p.m.
First responders transported one 18-year-old woman to a local hospital with serious injuries, and another was hospitalized with minor injuries. A 17-year-old was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Everybody involved in the incident was wearing a seatbelt.
