BLUE SPRINGS, MO – State troopers were called to a two-vehicle collision along Interstate 70 in Blue Springs on Wednesday morning, according to KCTV.
The crash took place at about 6:20 a.m. in a construction zone on eastbound I-70 near Adams Dairy Parkway., the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. There was no immediate word on whether anyone was injured.
The right lane of the interstate was shut down while emergency crews responded, causing extensive traffic delays during the morning rush hour that stretched back near Missouri 7 Highway.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
