KC: Driver Dies After Crashing Into Bridge Support Pillar in Downtown Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A motorist drove off the road and was killed in a crash in Kansas City early Tuesday morning, according to the Kansas City Star.

Preliminary details indicated that the driver of a BMW coupe was traveling at high speed on the exit ramp from Interstate 70 to Highway 71 south when the accident happened at about 12:49 a.m.
