KC: Driver hospitalized following rollover crash off Hwy Z in Benton County

BENTON COUNTY, MO – A single-vehicle rollover wreck Tuesday morning near west Warsaw left a 32-year-old woman injured, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The accident unfolded on the westbound lanes of State Highway Z, west of Falling Rock Avenue, at around 8:40 a.m.

Preliminary details indicate the woman, a Warsaw resident, was driving a 2012 Chevy Cruze westbound when the vehicle veered across the center line and off the left side of the roadway. Moments later, it slammed into a fence and overturned.

Benton County EMS personnel had the female driver transported to Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare for injuries described as “moderate.”

The Chevy Cruze, which was totaled in the incident, had to be towed from the area.
