KC: Driver hospitalized following rollover crash off US-65 in Benton County

BENTON COUNTY, MO – A single-vehicle rollover collision Friday morning near Warsaw sent a 66-year-old local resident to the hospital, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened on a stretch of the highway south of Marina Road, at about 10:05 a.m.

Officials say a 66-year-old man was operating a 2012 Ford F-350 southbound when the vehicle veered into the median, entered the northbound lanes, and then veered off the east side of the roadway. It then collided with a guardrail and rolled over before coming to a stop.

The male driver was rushed by air ambulance to Missouri University Hospital in Columbia, MO, for injuries described as moderate.

No other injuries were reported.
