KC: Man hospitalized after two-vehicle wreck on US-65 near Sedalia

PETTIS COUNTY, MO – A 68-year-old man from Sedalia was hospitalized Wednesday morning as a result of a collision involving another driver on U.S. Highway 65 near Sedalia, reports the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Authorities said a 59-year-old Sedalia man was driving a white 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 eastbound when it entered the path of the victim’s Silver 2024 Ford Crown Victoria, which was heading northbound. The GMC then hit the driver’s side of the Ford, and then impact sent both vehicles off the east side of the roadway, causing the Ford to strike a stop sign.

Pettis County Ambulance District crews transported the driver of the Ford, to Bothwell Regional Health Center with moderate injuries.

The GMC Sierra and the Ford Crown sustained moderate and total damages, respectively, and both were towed from the scene.
