KC: Motorcyclist injured in crash with tree off Route AA near Adrian

BATES COUNTY, MO – A 40-year-old man was sent to the hospital Sunday evening following a motorcycle accident off Route AA near Adrian, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The wreck unfolded on the eastbound side of the road at Northwest County Road 1001 and was first reported at 6:00 p.m.

Officials say the man, a local resident, was operating a 2015 Indian Roadmaster motorcycle eastbound when, for reasons still unclear, the bike ran off the right side of the roadway and collided with a tree.

First responders had the rider transported to Cass Regional Medical Center for injuries described as “moderate.”

No other people or vehicles appear to have been involved in the crash.
