the incident, reported by Fox4KC, took place at In-A-Tub in the vicinity of Prairie View Road and NW 83rd Street in the Northland area.  A preliminary investigation by Kansas City police determined that the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup truck had pulled into a parking spot shortly before 4 p.m.  The vehicle suddenly accelerated and drove through the side of the fast-food restaurant, striking the owner who was inside.
