MO: 1 hospitalized after two-vehicle wreck on Hwy JJ in Taney County

TANEY COUNTY, MO — A 63-year-old man was injured early Monday afternoon as a result of a collision near south Kirbyville, reports the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened on a stretch of State Highway JJ, about four miles south of the city. It was first reported at about 12:17 p.m.

According to preliminary details provided by the MSHP crash report, a 64-year-old Yellville, Arkansas man was driving a 2014 Ford Transit southbound when the vehicle veered past the center line and collided with a 2010 Ford F150 pickup truck driven by the victim, a Kissee Mills resident.

First responders with Tany County Ambulance District transported the victim to Cox Hospital in Branson for minor injuries.

Officials said the Ford Transit was totaled in the wreck, and the Ford F-150 sustained extensive damage.
