HOLT, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, one person was hurt in a hit-and-run crash at Interstate 35 and State Highway PP Saturday afternoon.
A 59-year-old man was driving a 2012 Dodge 1500 west on State Highway PP when he plowed into the back of a 2015 Ford Escape operated by a 29-year-old man who was slowing down to make a turn around 3:44 p.m.
Following the collision, the Dodge driver left the scene.
First responders transported a 26-year-old woman to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The man and woman in the Ford Escape were wearing seatbelts. It is unclear if the Dodge driver was wearing one.
