CALLAWAY COUNTY, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, one person was hurt in a rear-end collision on State Highway J in Callaway County Wednesday morning.
A 20-year-old man was driving a 2011 Ford Edge when he failed to yield to a 36-year-old woman driving a 2005 Ford Escape at 4271 State Highway J. The Ford Escape driver rear-ended the Ford Edge around 10:30 a.m.
The 36-year-old woman suffered minor injuries. Her family transported her to an area hospital.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
