MO: 2 hurt following 2-vehicle crash near Quitman

QUITMAN, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two people were hurt in a two-vehicle collision at MO 46 and MO 113 on Wednesday.

A 35-year-old woman was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi Endeavor north on MO 13 when she ran a stop sign and collided with the driver’s side front tire of a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica operated by a 73-year-old woman around 9:30 a.m.

The collision caused the Mitsubishi to rotate counterclockwise before coming to rest off the northwest corner of the intersection. The Chrysler also came to rest in the northwest corner of the intersection.

Rescue crews transported the 35-year-old to an area hospital with serious injuries and took the 73-year-old woman to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
