MO: 2 hurt following wrong-way crash on Vfw Rd near Eldon

ELDON, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two people were hurt when a wrong-way driver collided with another vehicle on Vfw Rd just south of Eldon on Thursday.

A 36-year-old male was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado north on Vfw Rd when he crossed the center lane and slammed into a southbound 2006 Jeep Liberty operated by a 36-year-old woman around 11:30 a.m.

Rescue crews transported the Jeep’s driver and one of its occupants, a 41-year-old man, to an area hospital. The driver was admitted in moderate condition, and the passenger was admitted in serious condition.
