MO: 2 teens hurt following single-vehicle crash on MO 13 near Blue Eye

BLUE EYE, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two teens were injured in a single-vehicle collision on MO 13 three miles north of Blue Eye on Thursday.

A 16-year-old girl was driving a 2008 Toyota Highlander south on MO 13 when she strayed off the right side of the road and hit a Chevron sign around 7:59 a.m. The driver then returned to the road, crossed the median and went off the left side of the road where she crashed into a ditch.

A private vehicle transported the driver and her 15-year-old passenger to an area hospital with minor injuries.
