MO: Driver sent to hospital after tractor-trailer overturns on I-55 in Pemiscot County

PEMISCOT COUNTY, MO — A 53-year-old woman from Mississippi was hurt Thursday night due to a rollover collision involving a big rig on Interstate 55 near north Hayti, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The incident unfolded on the northbound lanes of I-55, about 5 miles north of the city, and was first reported at 8:12 p.m.

Details are limited, but the victim, a resident of Cleveland, Mississippi, was operating a 2022 International when it lost control for unknown reasons and overturned.

First responders had the driver transported by ambulance to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital with injuries considered minor.
