MO: Man left injured after pickup truck hits multiple trees in Cole County

COLE COUNTY, MO — A 48-year-old man was hospitalized Thursday evening after a single-vehicle accident in southeast Jefferson City, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at 5123 Roling Road and was first reported at 5:06 p.m.

Details are limited, but the MSHP crash report indicates a local resident, was operating a 2020 Toyota Tacoma pickup ruck southbound when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway. It then traveled down an embankment and collided with multiple trees.

Cole County EMS personnel had the driver transported to University Hospital with moderate injuries.

While the cause of the accident has not been disclosed, officials noted that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.
