MO: Man seriously hurt in two-vehicle crash at Stoddard County intersection

STODDARD COUNTY, MO – A two-vehicle collision Wednesday morning near southeast Bell City left a 73-year-old man seriously injured, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred on a stretch of County Road 502 at County Road 593, about five miles south of Vanduser. It was first reported at about 8:47 a.m.

Preliminary details indicate the victim was driving a 2002 Dodge 1500 westbound when the vehicle collided with a 2020 Ford F250 at an unmarked intersection.

The driver of the Dodge, a resident of Sedgewickville, was transported by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for serious injuries.

No injuries to the driver of the Ford, a 67-year-old Oran resident, were reported.

Officials said both vehicles were totaled in the wreck and had to be towed from the scene.
