MO: Troopers investigate single-vehicle wreck on Liv 256 near Chillicothe

CHILLICOTHE, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle collision that happened on Liv 256 two miles west of Chillicothe on Sunday.

A 16-year-old male was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe east on Liv 256 when it began sliding on gravel and strayed off the south side of the road before overturning. The driver was ejected from the Tahoe. He was not wearing a seatbelt. The Tahoe came to rest on its wheels facing east.

Rescue crews transported the driver to an area hospital in serious condition. Three girls were taken to the hospital. A 14-year-old female and a 15-year-old female suffered minor injuries. A 13-year-old female sustained moderate injuries.
