MO: Woman, 72, Dies After Being Struck by SUV in Bollinger County

BOLLINGER, MO – A collision in Bollinger County last week claimed the life of a pedestrian, according to a KTTN report.

The incident took place Feb. 13 on Highway 34 about ten miles west of Marble Hill.  Preliminary details released by the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicated that the driver of a 2023 Ford Expedition was headed west at about 2:52 p.m. when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway.

The Ford hit a rock bluff and overturned, then struck a 72-year-old woman who was standing next to a stationary 2001 Kawasaki Mule UTV.

The pedestrian, a Glenallen resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.   No injuries were reported for the Ford driver, a 28-year-old Patterson woman.

The SUV was towed from the scene with extensive damage while the UTV was totaled and removed by the owner.
