MO: Woman sent to hospital after two-vehicle wreck on US-160 in Butler County

BUTLER COUNTY, MO – A 25-year-old woman from West Plains was injured Tuesday morning due to a collision on U.S. Highway 160 near Harviell, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at the intersection with State Highway V, about three miles west of the city, at around 10:25 a.m.

An early investigation found that the victim was driving a 2010 Toyota Venza southbound on Highway V (Highway C) when she failed to yield to a 2020 Ford Explorer traveling eastbound on US-160.

The driver of the Toyota was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.

The driver of the Ford Explorer, a 42-year-old Winona woman, was not reported hurt.

Both vehicles were totaled in the wreck and had to be towed from the crash site.
