STL: 1 dead following 2-vehicle crash at north St. Louis County intersection

ST. LOUIS, MO — A two-vehicle collision last Saturday afternoon, February, 10, near northeast Florissant claimed one life, according to FOX 2 Now.

The accident happened at the intersection of New Halls Ferry Road and New Castle Drive just after 1:00 p.m.

An investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol remains in progress, but officials confirmed that one person was pronounced deceased at the scene despite life-saving measures from first responders. At this time, the victim’s identity has not been made public.

FOX2 Now crews noted that the crash left debris scattered across the roadway, prompting a temporary closure of the road.
