STL: 3 Injured, Including 2 Children, When Vehicle Hits Median on I-44

ST. LOUIS, MO – Three people were injured, including two children, in a single-vehicle wreck in St. Louis County on Wednesday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver of a 2019 Dodge Journey was heading eastbound on Interstate 44 at about 7:20 p.m. when she attempted to cross the gore point onto the ramp to Interstate 270.

The front of the Dodge then traveled across all lanes of I-44 and struck the concrete median.

The driver, a 28-year-old woman, and her two passengers, a 6-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl, all suffered minor injuries and were taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis.  The three are residents of St. Robert, Missouri.  The vehicle was totaled and removed from the scene by a towing company.
