STL: 9-year-old killed by driver in O’Fallon

O’FALLON, MO – A driver struck and killed a 9-year-old boy who was riding a bicycle near Harmony Lane and Vine Street on June 14, according to First Alert 4.

A 19-year-old man was driving a pickup truck when he hit the victim.

Rescue crews found the boy unconscious in the street. They performed life-saving measures on him and transported him to an area hospital, where he died.

Following the collision, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.

The O’Fallon Police Department is investigating the incident.
