STL: Driver rear-ends semi-truck in Ste. Genevieve Township

STE. GENEVIEVE TOWNSHIP, MO – Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck on MO 32 near Flieg Dr on Monday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

An 84-year-old man was driving a 2004 Ford Taurus east on MO 32 when he rear-ended a 2024 Kenworth T680 driven by a 53-year-old man who was stopped in traffic at a construction zone around 11:18 a.m.

Rescue crews transported the 84-year-old male driver and his 71-year-old female passenger to an area hospital with moderate injuries.

The Kenworth driver was not hurt in the collision.
