STL: Driver sent to hospital after two-vehicle crash on Hwy A in St. Charles

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO — A 47-year-old woman was injured Thursday night as a result of a collision on Highway A in northeast Wentzville, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened on the eastbound lanes at Parr Road, in an area northwest of St. Louis. It was first reported at 9:37 p.m.

Officials indicated that the woman, of St. Louis, was driving a 2017 Ford Explorer eastbound when an eastbound 2016 Ford F-150 struck the Explorer’s right side.

Charles County Ambulance District personnel transported the St. Louis woman to SSM Health Saint Joseph Lake St Louis for minor injuries.

The driver of the F-150, a 31-year-old Troy resident, was not reported hurt.

Both vehicles sustained minor damages and were able to be driven from the crash site.
