STL: Man, 38, Charged After 2025 Deadly Hit-And-Run Crash

ST. LOUIS, MO – A 38-year-old man was charged in connection with a 2025 deadly hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a 20-year-old woman.

Fox2Now said that last Wednesday, July 22, the 38-year-old man was charged with leaving the scene of a crash that resulted in death and tampering with physical evidence.

The Back Story

The crash occurred around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, on the  2500 block of North Grand Boulevard. There, 20-year-old woman was walking when she was struck by a vehicle driven by the 38-year-old man. The woman was thrown into the air and struck a parked car before she succumbed to her injuries.

The man did not render aid to woman or call 911 and fled the scene. He pulled into the nearby  Eagle Express gas station, abandoned his car there, and walked away with objects in his hand.

Days later, St. Louis Metropolitan Police released the man’s mugshot and said he was a person of interest in this hit-and-run crash and that he was last seen with a gun in his hand, deeming him armed and dangerous.

No bond is expected to be set for the man and he will make additional court appearances this coming Friday, July 31, and Thursday, August 21.
