ST. LOUIS, MO – Authorities closed a portion of Interstate 44 East near Jefferson Avenue on Wednesday due to a traffic crash.
The collision took place before 4 p.m. At the time of FirstAlert4’s reporting, at least three lanes were expected to remain closed until at least 5 p.m.
Lanes were anticipated to have been reopened, although it is not immediately clear whether anyone was injured.
In addition, officials have not listed the number of people and vehicles involved or specified the events leading to the collision.
