STL: Police investigate deadly wrong-way crash near Walnut Park East

ST. LOUIS, MO – One person died in a multi-vehicle collision on W Florissant Ave near Thrush Ave on Friday, according to First Alert 4.

The driver of a blue Infinity Q50 was heading west in the eastbound lanes of W Florissant Ave when they hit a westbound Mercury Milan around midnight.

Rescue crews transported a man and a 17-year-old female from the Infinity, as well as the driver and passenger from the Mercury, to an area hospital, where the man died.

Police say two men from the Inifinity fled the scene. It is unclear who was driving the Infinity.

The St. Louis Police Department is investigating the incident.
