STL: Road Rage Incident-Turned-Crash Sends 2 to Hospital

ST. LOUIS, MO – A 30-year-old woman and a 7-year-old girl were taken to a hospital after a road rage incident-turned-crash on Monday.

The incident unfolded around 8:30 a.m. on Interstate 70 West, east of Interstate 170, and involved two vehicles: a 2011 Nissan Altima and a 2022 Jeep Cherokee, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

One of the drivers first struck one vehicle, and the Nissan Altima then rear-ended the Jeep, causing the Nissan to go off the interstate.

The Nissan driver, a 30-year-old woman, and Jeep passenger, a 7-year-old girl, both from St. Louis, sustained minor injuries.

The Berkley Fire Department transported the 7-year-old girl to SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and the 30-year-old female driver to SSM Health DePaul Hospital St. Louis.

MSHP did not specify whether they cited the drivers.
