ST. LOUIS, MO – A 67-year-old woman from Lake St. Louis was taken to the hospital following a two-SUV crash on Interstate 170 in St. Louis on Sunday.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision happened after 4:30 p.m., south of Interstate 270. MSHP said a 63-year-old male driver was traveling in the second lane and crashed his 2012 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350 into the left side of a 2017 BMW X5.

The impact caused the Mercedes to drift into the left side of the road and crash into a center cable barrier.

The BMW driver, the 67–year–old woman from Lake St. Louis, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Missouri Baptist Medical Center by the Hazelwood Fire Department, while the 63-year-old male driver was uninjured.
