STL: Woman crashes car through yard, garage of O’Fallon residence

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – A 31-year-old driver was cited following a crash late Tuesday at a residence in southwest O’Fallon, according to First Alert 4.

The accident was reported in the 2300 block of Amarillo Driver, prompting a response from O’Fallon police some time after 11:00 p.m.

Officials say the woman lost control of her car, causing it to travel through a yard and then come crashing into a garage.

While the driver was issued a citation for “careless and imprudent driving,” no major injuries were reported following the incident.

First Alert 4 learned that “traffic calming measures” for the road are expected to be presented on April 25 before the city council for approval.
