STL: Woman sent to hospital after rear-end crash on MO-32 in St. Francois County

ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO – A 32-year-old woman was injured Friday afternoon when her car was rear-ended by another vehicle on State Highway 32 near Park Hills, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident took place on the eastbound lanes near Davis Crossing, just west of Labruyere Park, at about 2:08 p.m.

Little information has been made available at this time, but the victim, a Park Hills resident, was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Impala eastbound when the car was hit in the rear by a 1998 Lincoln Navigator.

St. Francois County Ambulance District crews had the driver of the Chevrolet transported to Parkland Hospital Farmington with minor injuries.

No injuries to the driver of the Lincoln, a 52-year-old man from Festus, have been reported. It’s unclear whether they are expected to be charged or cited.

Both vehicles were totaled in the crash and had to be towed from the area.
