KANSAS CITY, MO – A 27-year-old man was sent to the hospital after a car-pickup truck crash in the Crestview area on Thursday.
The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. on Interstate 29 South near North Oak Trafficway, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Preliminary details show that a 52-year-old male driver failed to slow down and crashed his 2014 Ford F-150 pickup truck into the back of a 2023 Nissan Frontier.
The Nissan driver, a 27-year-old man and a Kansas City local, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the North Kansas City Hospital.
The 52-year-old male driver, also from Kansas City, was uninjured.
MSHP confirmed both drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicles and wore seatbelts.
